AVG Free is the free version of Grisoft's AVG Antivirus. Highly recommended for all Windows users. Blocks viruses and spyware, detects more than expensive software I have used previously. (PC/Freeware)

Before the release of version 8 I would have agreed with you but the latest version is causing problems would recommend Avast as alternative as has better engine and lower resource usage WWW.AVAST.COM
